I feel like now things can slow down a little bit. I was a crafting, wrapping, gift buying machine.
I still have a few more things to make for Christmas in Maine but not as much pressure, and a little more breathing room!
I had a wonderful Christmas. Full of laughs, family, and good food. Thank you all for my wonderful gifts!
The best thing I gave out for Christmas, was the gift I gave to my Nana. Last year she gave me her old dresses that she had sewn when she was younger wondering if I would like the fabric for something. I decided to hold onto it because some of it was really cool, and I'm not one to just toss away good fabric.
So this year I decided to make her a wallet out of the clothes that she gave me. She was so excited to when she saw it, the first thing she said was " Oh this is fabric from my dresses!". It was definitely worth the time I took sewing it! I used the pattern from the second installment of One Yard Wonders.
Some funky fabrics on the insides :)
Santa came!!!
Whats Christmas with out a Bonfire?
And one of my favorite Photos of This Christmas:
